Born and educated in Munich;
bi-lingual in English and German;
professional travel writer and translator since 1987

Natascha Scott-Stokes is a member of PEN and the Society of Authors Translators' Association. She has written both literary travel books and guide books for tourists. She co-authored the original Rough Guide to Germany, and she has also published on tourism in Latin America and southern Africa.

The guide books were written under the author's pen name, Natascha Norton.
